Escalade esv vs Expedition Max 2019 boosters and FF

Deciding between the 2 vehicles. Stuck between Escalade NOT having middle headrest (how bad safety wise is this?older kids neck def hit where seatback ends) and 3rd row seat so close to 2nd row (like bus seat close to each other) vs Expedition having middle headrests and ability to slide 2nd row...

2017 Sienna 3rd rigid LATCH booster install

Apparently the Oobr is about a half inch too wide to be LATCHed into the 3rd row. It just is ever so slightly too wide that the female buckle stalk rubs against the Oobr and doesn't give enough space to insert the belt plate. Any other HBB options that LATCH that may be able to be LATCHed in...

Is there a holy grail of SUV's?

Does anything exist that is -friendly for multiple car seats and booster use (has removable headrests, decent belt positions, etc.) -has storage room because the 3rd row will always be in use (like i can lay a jogging stroller behind the 3rd row kind of room and not a sad 15 inches of room...

    Frontier 85 top tether slips

I had to remove the vehicle headrest so the Frontier wouldn't be pushed forward during install, but now that the headrest if off, I can't feed the tether through there so it doesn't slide off my captains chair. It's not super tight. Should I just tighten it more so it really digs into the seat...

    G3 boulevard rear tether

I know they changed the rear facing tether on newer versions ( pretty sure it's a g3-mfd around 2013). I still install with tether because that's what my manual says? Also where is the tether location in the 2017 Sienna? Slip the d ring under the forward/back leg adjustment track of the front seat.

Securing a booster with non rigid latch

My kids exit the car in such a rush that rebuckling the booster rarely happens. Lower anchors are offset and using then makes the booster sit atop the seatbelt stalks. Can I use one flexible latch connector to secure one side of the booster? I'm guessing a rigid latch could put extra torque...

PA seatbelt and car seat and booster use

Sorry this is long. What does this mean in layman's terms? My text IS IN CAPS. (And I realize there is a bill waiting signature for RFing until2 http://www.legis.state.pa.us/CFDOCS/Legis/PN/Public/btCheck.cfm?txtType=HTM&sessYr=2015&sessInd=0&billBody=S&billTyp=B&billNbr=1152&pn=1591) This is...

Question Booster use with seatbelt from ceiling

Is there a general rule of thumb for how tall a child should be when sitting in a sitting position where the seatbelt shoulder portion originates from the ceiling? My state seatbelt law states the child must be in a properly adjusted seat belt which I take to mean passing the five point test and...

Graco Milestone FF in captains 2013 sienna install trouble

Anyone have a good install in this location? I can get it tight side to side but then I can pull it forward off the seat. I think the stiff stationary female buckle stalk is my issue as it protrudes from the seat a good few inches.

Question Clek foonf and clek oobr

In all my playing around with seats lately I gave questions on these two? Foonf- 1-when rf is react applicable? I thought I read something that react only worked when installed with lower anchors, but we're over the anchor weight range. Does it not apply because there's the rebound bar or...

Question Will a nautilus and a ff boulevard clicktight puzzle well? Better hbb booster for 3rd row Sienna

Don't want to pull out 2 harnessed seats if I'm going to have to put them back exactly how I had them. I'm playing with seats across my cars. I know the nauti is huge. It's currently a hbb booster in my car and I hate it in that mode-too hard to buckle and the seatbelt is always getting...

    Question Boòster safety /excursion

Boòster safety /excursion Is the excursion more a matter of the booster in use or the car belt? Assuming proper belt to body fit. Are there really seats that have lower excursion that might be better suited for tighter spaces? How can I find those seats? I get they all all pass the same...

Question Is Pa proper use and what exactly does that mean?

does proper use only apply to child restraints or also to a child who might be age legal to sit in just a seatbelt, but really doesn't fit in a seatbelt only properly? Would that mean my car manual would have to have seat belt fit instructions like a car seat manual does (which I'd guess...

Question Does the Pinoeer 70 install like the frontier 85?

are the instals similar or virtually identical? Does the 70 require top tether use at all weights? In booster or harness mode do both require a certain %of the seat bottoms or back to make contact with my automobile seat? Can I do a long belt path with the 70 or is there only one path?
