Highback Booster for 2nd row of 2011 Toyota Sienna

I don't believe the one I bought is going to work for my 6-year-old, as it requires installation with the car's headrest installed. The headrest is in the way, so it won't install properly with the booster's back flush with car's seat back. Are there other good yet relatively inexpensive...

EDITED TO ADD PHOTO: Problems with Safety 1st Store N Go in Toyota Sienna

Help! Anyone else have problems using Safety 1st Store N Go in a Toyota Sienna? Manual says tops of ears can't go over vehicle's seatback or headrest or car seat headrest. Without using headrest, tops of his ears ARE barely over the vehicle's seatback, but WITH the headrest, the carseat isn't...

Question Safety 1st Store N Go Question (plus minor bonus questions) :)

Help! I just ordered a Safety 1st Store N Go for my below average size 1st grade son (don't know his weight but he's average to slightly above average height and definitely below average weight). I planned to use this in high back mode in the 2nd row of my toyota sienna. He fits well in it...

    Graco Nautilus-use without harness question

I've just taken the harness straps off of my Nautilus for my daughter. I'm a little confused about why I'm not allowed to LATCH the car seat in the vehicle. Obviously I'm using the lap/shoulder belt to secure HER, but I don't want to leave the car seat loose in the car when she's not riding in...

Blessing to use backless booster for 6-year-old?

DD is 6-years-old, 46 lb. When she is in my car, we are driving longer distances on a notoriously dangerous highway, so I've kept her harnessed in a Nautilus and likely will for a while longer. HOWever, it is my husband who usually takes her to and from school each day. He switches vehicles...

    What do YOU think?

Without this becoming a huge debate, I'd love to know what YOUR personal preferences or recommendations are for when it is appropriate to move from RF to FF and also when to move from harnessed seat to high back booster seat. Thanks for your input.

    Help - Need Easier Booster

5 1/2 year old has recently gone from harness to booster mode in our Maestro. She's still harnessed in the Nautilus for longer trips when she might sleep, but this every day short trip seat is a PAIN in booster mode. Any recommendations for a booster for her that she would be able to get into by...

Top Tether with Maestro as Booster?

Just let my almost-six-year-old girl use her Maestro in booster mode for the first time, and I realized I was using the top tether still. I read the manual and found zero information about it. Anyone know if I should be doing this...or not? Also curious if anyone's older children (5 or 6 years)...

To Booster or Not to Booster: That is the Question

Can anyone help me find a good thread on here regarding how long to keep children in harnessed seats? Trying to decide whether or not to move DD to a high back booster or keep her harnessed, and I want to see some references to research and such. I tried a forum search, but I didn't find what I...

    Booster?

Erghh...searching for forums to find out a good booster recommendation for a "new to boostering" 5-year-old. It would be used in my husband's Chevy (4-door (not the kind that's 2 full on doors, but the kind you have to open the front door first to open the back door). She would not be traveling...

    Extra Car Seat for 5-year-old

Looking for an extra car seat to keep in our occasional baby-sitter's car. DD rides in a Graco Nautilus most of the time, and an Evenflo Maestro in hubby's truck. Looking for something that she can be harnessed in and has a relatively easy seatbelt install. Will be in backseat of an older Jeep...

    True Fit-Remind Me :)

I know the True Fit is allowed to be more upright than 45 degrees for older babies, but can someone remind me at what age/weight, etc. this might be appropriate? ALSO...I can't remember for the life of me...is it OKAY for this carseat to be touching the seat in front of it when it is rear facing?

    True Fit Question

My 8 mo. old, 19 lb. son has just inherited his sister's True Fit. She was too big by the time I got it to use the padding (height and head pillows) that came with it. I know the manual says it should not be used past 22 lb. I would like to use it for him until he reaches that point b/c it seems...

    Nautilus Elite Belly Pad?

Can someone show me how this thing should be used? A picture would be great. It came off when I was putting it together and have no idea how it's supposed to be used, though I'm guessing it will help keep the dang thing out from under her…which would be KILLER!

Baby Trend Infant Seat next to Nautilus

I want to have DD's Nautilus in the center of my 2001 Outback, but even with the baby's Baby Trend base installed using the seatbelt, I can't click the seat in place unless the base is slightly angled as shown below. Is this horrible? Should I just give it up and put both seats outboard? If so...
