Question Snugride Installation Q

I got a Snugride for the new baby-on-the-way. I have to install it behind the passenger seat in a Dodge Ram (Briar's BLVD has to be moved to the middle b/c of the contouring of the seat, hers is the only seat I have that fits in the middle). Anyway, does Graco allow for bracing of the passenger seat against the car seat?
Also, can I leave the handle in the A position (all the way up)?

TIA!

I don't think touching is disallowed by Graco, but it will make it very difficult to remove and replace the infant seat. I don't know whether "bracing" (forcible bracing) is disallowed or not.

You can leave the handle in the all the way up A position. :) Just not B (slightly back) or C (top of the seat.) A, D, and E are the allowed positions.

Thanks for the reply!

While doing the test install this morning, I had the passenger seat just barely touching the infant seat, so while there isn't a ton of room in the front, it works for now.

Which Snug Ride is it?

Only the old Snug Rides (20, 22lb ones) and NOT the Snug Ride 32/35s that disallow position "C" to be used while driving. The SR 32/25s don't even have 5 handle positions - only 4 (A,B,C,D).

Yes, you can.

Here is a good visual explanation (straight from the Snugride 22 (SR22)'s manual, page 13).
