Thank you- can you please let me know where on the page the ad was? Was it the same ad both times or do you think it could have possibly been another ad on the page that caused the redirect?

Whoops didn't see this comment as it was on the next page. If you mean the short, wide ad below the navbar, that is a different network than the previous redirect ads. I will add some block for those URLs to start. Redirects can be insidious though, I'm not sure if it's possible to be sure exactly which ad location is causing it, unless the others are all loaded and obviously reputable advertisers of course.

If anyone can reproduce this and possible get a screenshot, that would help for me to send to the network as well.

Unfortunately, I can't be absolutely certain about the ad/placement, I can't rewind my reality, but that's what it appeared to be as I watched (the first time it happened I was going to the first-new-post so didn't even see the ads before redirection). Foonf and nunapipa has been fairly consistently in the upper right, and something else reputable in the upper left... the strip has been the least consistent, often matching one of the top two, but regularly being other, smaller-advertiser things.

Meanwhile, on my Mac, I'm getting auto-playing ads (1040.com) on the upper left, and just had a "roll-over to start playing" that had no hover-time... roll over it with the cursor and move on, it counted down 3-2-1 and started playing a youtube video.

I'm keeping my adblock off for car-seat.org, but ... it's hard. I really, really hate ads that move, and ones which move AND TALK are really just not at all ok, you know?

Autoplay ads are supposed to be blocked and should not appear. I can generally find and add those since they are easier to identify. In addition, political ads as a category are blocked. This advertiser clearly violated two separate rules for the Google ad network and I am reporting them and blocking the URL. Unfortunately, it may not be listed under the same URL so it may take a little while to block it.

Please continue to report this type of autoplay (audio or video or both) ad so I can have them removed, not only here, but likely across the network as well for violating TOS.

The lead-in for the keystone ad said something like "hover here for safety information", and referenced kxl, but sadly I missed the full ad text before it started playing.
