Let's talk Britax fashion now!

Okkay... so I have decided on getting 2 Britax Marathons for my 22 month old girls (to replace the Edie Bauer 3 in 1 that will be moving to my mums cars now).

Thank you so much all the info onh this site which help me make this decision regarding safety, car fit, and practicallity.

So now the fun part.... what pattern do I get?

I love the Olivia or Brooke, but I am in Canada and I don't think their are any dealers or online retailers that sell those patterns or just the replacement covers (if there is please tell me!!!).

So I am left with the Cowmooflage or Ashley if I want to get something fun that they may like.

Is there anyone with pics of these? Are they both in that brushed fabric? What's my best bet from a clean perspective - will the white part of the Cow print end up up grubby really fast?

Or would you recommend going for the Granite, Crocodile or Onyx?

I want to hear about the patterns!!! please please please!

I have the cowmoo and love it. It isn't really all that white, it is more cream marbelly. Here is a picture in my car and a close up of the fabric.

I actually replacing one of my cowmoo seats (I will keep the extra cow cover) and I am planning on getting the Ashley Floral. I have seen IRL and loved it. Both seats are very nice and soft.

I have a Granite MA, and like it.

I saw the Crocodile in the store and I REALLY liked it, but our van interior is grey and we have two black/grey Radians already.

The white parts on the Cowmoo have yellowish/brown veins, so it's not pure white. I didn't consider it b/c I thought it would show dirt too much, but after seeing one in person I decided it would be okay. Unfortunately, DH doesn't like it

I love Ashley, but haven't seen it in person so I don't have a clue if it's plush or not.

ETA: DS2 is in the Granite MA in my siggy

It hides the dirt very well. In the year that I have had mine i've washed it once and that was only because ds had a accident in it. DH didn't really like it either but I love it and made the decision to buy it, once I got it home he loved it. DS doesn't think he has a carseat he has a cowseat

My cowmoo stays cleaner looking than other cover I've owned. It's actually not that white at all. It's more black and tan than anything. It's incredibly soft and plush! I have the AF as well, but just got it so I can't tell you how well that hold up yet. I'm a bit nervous as it's for my "messy" kid!

Ashley is plush and I have not had a dirt problem yet, but my DD doesn't walk out side very often. Her is a pic:

I would buy one Cowmoo and one Ashley. I like them both and I think it's fun to have different patterns to look at. Too bad they don't have Mariposa. We ours too!

What color is the interior of your car?

In my not-so-humble opinion...

~ Crocodile- looks GREAT in cars with a tan interior.

~ Granite- looks GREAT in cars with gray or black interiors.

~ Onyx- looks GREAT in cars with gray or black interiors.

~ Ashley Floral- looks best in cars with tan interiors.

~ Cowmooflague- looks GREAT in most cars.


Personally, I like Crocodile and Cowmooflague the best.

We LOVE our cowmoo!! It doesn't show the dirt much at all.


I could've sworn we had a pink one... maybe I'm going crazy but a lady that was here to pick something up the other day had a RF MA and I thought it was pink..

We loooooove our Olivia and Ashley covers. Plush and comfy. Makes me wish my driver's seat has a nice plush cover. You can see DD in her Ashley below.

I my Mariposa cover! If I were you I'd probably go with the Ashley or the Cowmoo... I was stuck between the Mariposa and the Cowmoo.

Oh I love our Cowmoofladge. We have had ours for over 2yrs now and it still looks great. Here is a picture of my youngest (now 4 1/2yrs old) in her Cow seat. She was 2 1/2yrs old in this picture. You can see next to it my all time favorite cover the Zebra MA cover. That is now in daddy's truck.

I say look for a BRITAX cover on Ebay you want. Get it and sell the cover you don't like.

I have a Cow Moo and Ashley in my collection of covers. I love them both. The shows dirt faster than the Cowmoo. The cowmoo stays surprisingly clean. We have lots of dirt here in the desert

Thank you all for the pics..... so I took the plunge and got: 2 cowmoos!!!!

Still would have prefered the Olivia or Brooke, but I guess I'll keep an eye out for them on eBay. What do they typically resell for? I guess I just need to make sure they don't show heaps of wear, since they don't factor in to the safety, right? And if I understand things, I should by customs.

BTW... what kind of cars do you have that can accomodate 3 seats?!??!?! We have a Subaru Forester, so I am guess 3 could never fit or am I wrong?
Hubby and I are thinking maybe we could add another little one to our bambinas one of these days. LOL But I keep thinking that get pg means having to buy a van.
