Question help choosing convertible and booster

We were in an accident a few weeks ago, finally getting to replace the seats. We had a Britax Marathon G4.1 and a Graco TB. Not sure I want the same again though I'm not against it. Convertible is for an almost 30lbs two year old, tall. But it will also get passed down to the baby when he outgrows his coccoro so having the tallest top slots isn't a must but tall is good just to make sure he doesn't outgrow it before I'm ready to get him a combo seat. I liked the marathon well enough. Loved the smooth harness. Kind of hated that it was so high up but most of them are of course. We also have a diono, like that it's low profile and narrow HATE the harness adjuster, I have carpal tunnel, it hurts my wrists.

I'm thinking graco 4ever, chicco nextfit, britax convertible, or maxi cosi pria. What do you guys like best and why? Booster is for average 8 year old, 60lbs, same height as most right year old on his bball team. On tallest slot of tb I think. DH is hoping for incognito, I'm not sure it's enough. He's tired of sitting in a booster because mom doesn't make him use one anymore. Insurance gave me $232 for convertible and $50 for booster. I have a little wiggle room because they gave me $250 for goodbaby infant seat I'm not replacing.

The Pria has a 40" standing height limit for RF, so if you have tall kids I'd skip it.

I like the Milestone better than the 4ever.

Thank you. I went ahead and ordered an incognito just to have something here by the time he gets here Friday. I can always do something else if it doesn't fit well.

Still haven't decided on a convertible. It's irritating that they went off target's online sale price for the marathon. We'll had three weeks since the accident I need to replace seats, the check for them isn't actually here yet even, I'm using the money they sent to repair the van, and to get the price they comp'ed for I'll have to wait for target to ship it. 😞 if I chose the marathon anyway. I'm still not completely sold. I think I'm put off a bit by the chicco not having any kind of anti rebound protection. I'm trying to figure out if only the click tight britax convertibles can use an arb or if the G4.1 can.

Looking at them on the website, the G4.1 ARB is definitely different. I thought they had them available for both for the US, so I'm not sure why they are not both on the website. I would call, if you get the time.

There used to be a G4/G4.1 ARB on Britax's US website, but I haven't seen it there for a long time. I don't know if that means that it's no longer available, or whether it means that it is just not currently in stock or what....I would call Britax and ask.

I liked the look of the 4ever and milestone but didn't know if there's some reason I'd miss higher end brands

You should see the prices of the Graco seats in Canada now. I think they have decided they are one of the higher end brands here! The 4ever is coming in fall and is supposed to be $450 [emoji15]

Yeah, they're over $200 here so nearing the higher end market. I'm such a snob, I guess, I'm so afraid to get a 'cheaper' brand and hate it like I used to. But Britax doesn't have tons of legroom and I'm not shelling out for the anti-rebound bar (is it just me or should they have included that when they stopped allowing rear tethering?!). The Chicco I like a lot but it's really bulky which gives me pause even though generally it's in the van. But I put it in the middle middle row in the van, so the eighth seat in an 06 Sienna, so it is slightly smaller than the other seats. I'm thinking I may go with a Boulevard ClickTight if I find a good enough deal. I hate not having the ARB, though! But an extra $40 PLUS shipping from Britax? Not cool.

And then there's Graco. He'd love to have a cupholder. That's mostly what's going for them right now, lol. I don't think I care for the booster function much. It'll get passed down to the littlest as time goes on so there's really not a need for it. So maybe the Size4Me clones? Are they the same as the MySize seats were? I HATED those monsters, so huge and so reclined forward facing. Are they still?
