I agree. Bulkhead seems great in theory but in practice it can be a real pain.
I haven't installed a Coccoro on an aircraft but can't imagine there'd be any sort of issues with it in a regular seat. All bets are off in bulkhead, because a lot of times an arm rest needs to be moved for installation.
And Dillipop is right, flight attendants cringe when they see babies on the floor. Mostly because they know how dirty those floors can be. I did let my 16mo stand for a minute next to my leg on a recent flight, so he could stretch his legs for a moment -- and when I looked down he had disappeared! It turned out he had knelt down and crawled UNDER my seat! We were in the very last row and I had to get down there and extract him from where he was inspecting an oxygen bottle. So please, don't let your little one play on the floor. There's stuff down low that they will find, that you can't see from your seat. They tend to be happiest in their carseats anyway.
