I've been in dialogue with a cyber-friend who is wanting to turn her very small 2 1/2 yr old back to rfing (YAY!!!) but her husband asked the following question
" After watching the video of crash tests in which kids were rear facing during a front impact it is easy to see how much safer they are rearfacing. But if they were rearfacing during a rear impact collision, would they be as safe? It seems the accident would appear as bad as the forward facers during a front collision. "
I did tell them that rear impact collisions account for only about 5% of all collisions, but can I add more to that? What else might be useful information for them to hear?
