WWYD- tether or center?

5 year old will be harnessed in 3rd row of 2003 Chevy Venture split bench seat. L/s belts and top tether outboard, lap belt no tether center. The crash ratings scare me, so center seems better, but not tethering, especially with a lap belt doesn't seem all that great. Seat choices are Argos or FR85.

Or maybe center and tethered to passenger side anchor :duck: I'm kidding... mostly... the versions that come with a solid 3rd row bench, the center tether is offset to the passenger side

I would definitely feel better about no tether if there was a l/s belt to use the LBP on the FR85. Well, do any minivan drivers have any input on which blocks view less- driver side or passenger side?

Drivers side blocks less. I look over my shoulder when merging and a seat on the passenger side definite blocks a lot more than the driver side, where I tend to use mirrors more.
