I'm looking for real-life WWYD with your own kids from those in the know, especially techs. Two of our high use seats, Coccoro and Symphony DLX, each have standing height limits (36" and 37", respectively). I haven't measured DS yet but I believe he is 35" at 2y4m currently. He is, however, comparatively leggy and still fits nicely in the CCO. Would you keep your leggy kid in a seat beyond the stated limit provided there's an inch of hard shell?
For context, we would not FF at this time. We also have a NextFit in daily use (love it) and a TFP in storage (hate it). We need three seats at all times, so we could always swap the CCO for the TFP (CCO becomes FF travel seat at 3yo and back-up seat for the belly baby). But DH and I both find the TFP a bear to use and install and we were hoping to install the CCO side-by-side with Keyfit sometimes after the baby comes (DS will be 2y8m) to accommodate visiting Grandmas.
