Would a tribute be a good second seat for a 2 year old?

She's got a long torso but a small head. LOL! She's 20 months, 21 pounds and about 31 inches tall. I have the CCO but I don't want to gate check it (light colored fabric+expensive seat=no thanks) I'm looking at the Evenflo tribute, or the scenera as a travel seat for her. She's got a 12.5 inch torso (she's ALL torso and short legs).

Would the tribute be a good option or should I stick w/ the scenera?

Why not just take the Coccoro on board? That's safer for her and the seat anyway.

If you're going to buy a seat to throw away, I'd go for whatever you can find cheapest.

I will if there are extra seats. The lady I talked to said there should be.

I just bought a Tribute after I returned the Scenera. The Scenera didn't have any foam and it felt cheap to me. The Tribute does have a shorter shell then the Scenera and that could be a concern. I am planning on upgrading the Tribute in a couple of months because my 15 month old only has about an inch left in it rfing. If your 2 year old has a long torso the Tribute may not be the seat for you. You might take a look at the Titan and see what you think. Saw one on sale at Kmart for 75.00.
