*whew*

My middle name is procrastination.

Oh, and my dh keeps bugging me to ask....

The carseat will NOT be counted as luggage, right? Since its being installed in a purchased seat, right?

It shouldn't. I don't know Express Jet's exact policy, but it's never counted on any airline I've flown- even the two times we gate checked it before I knew better.

Crunchy, that has me confused.

We bought the tickets with Delta, but it says it is operated by Express Jet. Whatever that means...

So, is there anything else I should know other than putting up the armrest?

I hope its easy.

Oh, by the way, I will be MIA for about a week. :( I dont know how I am going to do it.

I can assure you that delta doesn't count it as luggage.

you can route the belt over the cover if you want. I don't usually, but that's what the extra slits are for.

Your dd rf is more important than the person in front of her reclining 2 inches. ;)

If for any reason you do end up turning her ff, make sure you have the HUGS, adjust the harness height and flip the buckle or use a seatbelt extender (otherwise you might never get it undone). but really, you shouldn't have to and it's so much easier to have her rf.

print the FAA guidelines and make sure you have your MA manual with you.

Have a good trip. :)

The good thing is that my mom and sister will be in the seats in front of us. So, they wont need the recline. :ROTFLMAO:

So, is the seatbelt that short? I would need a seatbelt extender to install it ff? I dont plan to. Im just asking.

I wonder if I could just print out pages 11-12 of the FAA rules? I am low on ink, and doubt I would be able to print all 15 pages of them. Did I mention my middle name is procrastination?

yeah, I was going to mention that you probably don't need them all- just the pertinent ones.

the seatbelt isn't too short for ff, but buckle ends up in the middle of the beltpath. the britax beltpath makes it almost impossible to flip the latch open to unbuckle airplane seatbelts. getting an extender moves the buckle outside the beltpath. flipping the female end helps if an extender isn't available.
