I'm seriously jealous because we don't get any nice plush covers on Britax seats here in Europe. I'd love love love to have an "Anna" cover for my MaxWay.
The MaxWay is the first Britax seat that I have ever bought, and I think it's really good ease-of-use -wise, it's easy to install, lightweight, fits my car *extremely* well, has great weight/height limits, my 104 cm tall nearly 4 year old has I think at least a year remaining in the seat. But the cover fabric is less than impressive and shoulder pads leave red marks on my DD's neck. On one hand those are no major issues, on the other hand I really didn't expect that with a 300 Eur seat.
I've heard that the DualFix is about as tall as MaxFix/MaxWay, which means it'll certainly last to 4 years RF for most kids.
And I actually have very little love for Britax. One thing is that they make different seats for each regulation, which is probably mostly due to the regulation. Other thing is that within Europe where the same regulation applies they don't bother to make their ERF seats available everywhere. I have an acquaintance who sells carseats, and Britax yet again has refused to supply their erf seats [e.g. MaxWay] saying that those are not for our market [certain part of Eastern Europe] -- wtf? Last I heard the EU was a single market. It could be argued that there will be very little market share for those seat here, they ARE expensive, then again they do sell Trifix here, which is a very, very expensive seat with an even shorter usage time [9-18kg] than most of their erf seats.
