Who goes up front?

2006 Saturn Vue.

Me driving, four girls as passengers. Two are smallish and will stay in back. One is 5'1", 115#, well into puberty. One is (guessing) 5'3" and 105#, not as pubescent as the first. Both are newly 12.

I'm thinking it's pretty close as well, so I'll put my own kid (shorter and heavier) up front unless there are sharply dissenting opinions.

I have no idea which is safer but in a situation like this I would put my child on the front.

Depends. Is the other set of parents ok with their dd being in front? Under what circumstances are you giving this ride? If you invited the girls I would be more inclined to say your kid in the front. If you're doing a favor for the other patents and they could be driving their kids themselves then someone else's kid in the front is fine.
