Which DOMs of Radian car seats had the bad LATCH mechanism?

Considering buying a 4/10 DOM Radian 80 SL from a trusted friend at school, and wondering if it is in the range of seats that had the terrible issues with the LATCH. I texted her to ask about the color of the strap, but I am not sure if that will give me enough info to decide.

My friend recently called Diono about this. They said the latch with the loosening problems weren't sold after 2009. I searched here for her and came up with the same info. The strap looks similar but the mechanism inside the tilt lock is different after 2009. A 2010 model should have the updated strap.

I had a 2010 Radian with a black LATCH strap and I had no trouble with it.

I have a 1/10 DOM and have no issues with LATCH

Did you contact Diono? They will send you the updated strap.
