Question Where to go next????

I have twins that will be 5 the end of September. DS is growing way too fast for me... They currently both ride in CA 65's in my 2015 nissan pathfinder and DS has almost outgrown it... DH is tired of buying seats and I don't know if I can convince him to go with a new harnessed seat for DS because he has already said for the last year about going to boosters... I'm torn on what the next seat should be.... Here are their current stats: DS - 43.75", 16" seated height, 39.5#, DD - 40.5", 13.5" seated height, 34.5#. My biggest concern is DD is going to want to be like brother and have a seat like his even though she has plenty of room to grow in her CA. We are on a tight budget and I've looked at the Nautilus and some boosters (Graco Affix, Harmony Dreamtime). Suggestions on where I should go next for DS????

I am fine with 5 year olds in properly fitting booster seats if they can sit properly.

Both kids are under 40 lbs, which limits booster options and may, depending on where they live, mean they have to stay harnessed legally.

I think a combination seat that converts to a good booster is your best bet. Graco has a new one out now that's pretty economical. I forget the name. Similar to a Nautilus but doesn't go backless.
