What booster for a skinny 10 year old?

DS turned 10 in October. He rides in a parkway in my car. We have been moving it to DH's car because every Saturday they drive to ski lessons (about 1 1/2 hours each way). DH's car does not have side airbags in the rear, so I'd like to keep him in a HBB in that car. My van DOES have side airbags in all positions.

I need to get him a seat for my van so we don't have to switch. DH forgets to take it out of his car and then DS is in nothing in my van!

He loves being in a HBB...I'm tempted to just get him another parkway. He's only 65 pounds, skinny buddy.

I use the Monterey because it has adjustable side wings and so I can adjust it to fit my tall 9 yr old and my stocky 6 yr old.

If he likes the Parkway and it fits the child and car well, there's no reason not to get another (I think you mentioned no restrictions on carseat budget in another thread today).

Well since he's old enough to make some decisions, I took him to Target to try a few out. He decided he wanted a backless (I don't blame him) and he LOVED the harmony transit with the super squishy foam butt. He is SO boney that I'm sure that extra cushion feels fantastic. The belt fit is GREAT on him too.

My 9 yr old used to ride in a literider because he was so slim but said it was uncomfortable. I ended up with a sante fe for him.. But I may try the transit if it is comfy.. I need another for my dads car..

It has about 2 inches of squishy something in the rear- which is where a skinny kid needs padding LOL!
