comparing a classic boulevard to a new boulevard 70 installed in the same seat of the same vehicle to check rear facing height limits? He has room in the classic boulevard, but I am wondering if he will lose room in the boulevard 70 before his brother hits 45 pounds?

Children in question:

4.5 years old, 40 pounds, 40-41 inches, 15.5 inch torso, rf radian xtsl.

2 years 8 months, 30+pounds in just a dipe, 37 inches, 14.5 inch torso, rf 33 pound boulevard.

I don't have a classic blvd. But child one's stats are similar to O's and he's outgrown the new gen blvd70 rf and has less than a 1/2 inch of harness ff.

Child 2 is about A's size and I was pleasantly surprised to see that a has like 3 inches of growing room in the blvd70.

Thanks! That is what I am hoping for.

It is also why I am so torn on new forward facing seat, or new rear facing seat:eek: Because I know, in a year or so, I will need yet another new seat, as my regent will be expiring, and I don't want to use the boulevard or decathlon forward facing (plus the dc will be expiring soon, too) and the 4.5 year old wouln't have any room if any in it forward facing, either.

But, if I could get 2 years out of the boulevard 70 rf for the 2.75 year old, that would be good. Plus, the britax tethers rf... I have also been revisiting that plus. Now, moo or paisley:whistling:

Like I said I was surprised with the room a has. On the test bench he had an inch to grow at 40 degree angle. He's at 37 ish in my car and easily has a good 3 inches.

I posted a thread way back with comparison of a classic marathon and a roundabout 55. My yds outgrew the maraton RF at 20 mos but still fit with room in the ra55. He finally outgrew it rf in feb at 44" tall 37lbs and 15.5" torso
