Uhaul travel with toddler

I have a 17 month old who weighs 20 lbs. I am moving across the United States from California to South Carolina. I am driving a Uhaul truck with 3 seats. Driver and passenger, then another seat that is staggered back a little further and in the middle of the cab. I need to know if I can put my child in either of the passenger seats, rear facing for safe and legal travel.

Does the truck have airbags? Driver or passenger side or both?

Are there seat belts?

Have you checked to see whether there are instructions regarding car seats with the truck you are using?
