To add a noodle/towel or not?

It doesn't have to have the line level per Peg Perego. It may be up to 30 degrees from vertical rather than the 45 the line indicates. You only need more recline if your kids are uncomfortable, the angle shown looks fine to me.

I hope the tech showed you how to install yourself! Also I'd consider removing whatever it is that's under the seat unless it's just a towel. :)

He did, thanks. Those are seat covers - I'm happy to remove if you tell me why. My kids are pretty fussy so I'll try the noodle and see if it's better. Thanks

Is it the grippy kind? They can hide a bad installation and give you a false sense of security.

If it's non-grippy/rubberized, and as thin and flexible as a thin hand towel, then there's probably no problem with it. But in general, the less between the vehicle seat and the car seat, the better- that way there's no doubt whether the installation is really tight when it feels tight.

Thanks. We removed them and added the noodles. Seems to make the kids happier. Thank you.
