We are looking to purchase a 2018 Subaru Forester. It will be used primarily for my husband's commuter car, but we would also like to be able to use it for longer distance travel. We need to fit three kids (ages 3, 6 and 9) in the vehicle. Is this possible? The three year old is FFing in a Radian RXT. He could rear face if that would be easier as we just turned him around. The 6 year old is harnessed in a Britax Frontier. I'd like to keep him harnessed, but he does pretty well in a high back booster. The 9 year old is in a backless booster.
Any tried and true recommendations? We are open to buying all new seats if we need to.
I tried our Radian RXT with a Harmony Dreamtime outbound and a Bubble Bum in the middle. This seemed to work well. Is it OK for the 9 year old to ride in the Bubble Bum for long trips? We've always just used it for short trips around town.
Thanks!
