The best CA Booster Law article I have read today

I just saw this article on SF Gate about our new Booster law. With spun up articles like the WSJ one and others that have been floating around, it is refreshing to see this article that hits some of the misconceptions that are going around.

Definitely so much better than the WSJ article! But I wish people would stop using the term "graduated" from a booster seat. I think it needs to be emphasized that each "graduation" is actually a step down in safety.

This one made me cranky, but I bit my tongue, knowing there's so much out there so much worse. I just hate 'graduated,' and that they say their source is safe kids CA and safe kids does not say that most car seats are outgrown at 4 and 40. They rather pointedly say that there are seats that go up to 50, 65, 80 lbs, and they split kids into 1-4 and 5-9, meaning they expect everyone who is 4 to be in a car seat.

I'm only grumbling to y'all, though. I know it's better than usual. I'm only *kind of* a brat.
