Tell me about the Argos.

Are you familiar with the Nautilus? It's pretty much the GN, but imagine that the harness is always in the top slot, and the headrest moves up and down in front of it. That's the Argos. It's essentially no-rethread, but the harness height doesn't change.

Yes we have owned 3 GN's and were happy with them. I was going to get another Maestro for her but she says the straps hurt her neck and when she falls asleep and her head flops down she gets headaches. I liked that the GN has a small recline to it. Maybe I can recline the captains chair a little to get a recline?

I wouldn't pay the extra money for the Argos. It has a five pound difference, but most children will outgrow by height anyway. The headrest with the harness under is a little odd to me, but it's good for people who have different children sitting in it a lot.

She just loves that cover. Does anyone know if I just go with a Maestro again I can safely recline my seat a little to help her head from flopping forward? She doesn't need the weight of the GN. She is 4 and weighs 35lbs.

That's what I was thinking. I'm trying to picture it. Seems strange to me.

I'll admit I thought it was weird the first time I saw it, but it's not really all that different than the Nautilus. You know how the GN harness goes up and over those rollers, then down through the plastic box to whichever slot you need? They just eliminated the rollers and slots. It goes up over the top, but then in front of the shell. By getting rid of the slots, it also eliminates the weird headrest positioning in the GN when you move up the harness- where the headrest has to be above the slots, so ends up at the child's ears.

Ok that makes more sense now. It may still be a contender for DD. Shes average height so she may be alright.
