Subaru Legacy center top tether

Can someone tell me what the policy is here? I have a 2010 Legacy. The manual says to remove the head restraint in the outboard position in which you are using the tether, but says nothing about the center. I probably won't use it for another year, but figured I'd ask while I was thinking of it!

It doesn't expressly indicate top tethering in the center is to be done any differently than tethering outboard in the LATCH manual listing for 2001-2014 Legacy sedans, which states "Head Restraints (HRs): To attach tether, remove and store HR, per Owner's Manual." Kind of circular in that it refers back to the owner's manual you've already consulted about outboard and center top tethering without finding any specific details for the center. Hope it assures you somewhat for future top tethering, though. :)
