Stroller canopy removal?

My friend picked up a second-hand stroller for her son. It hadn't been washed. It's not SO bad--there are a few stains I won't be able to get out, but it's not so bad and for ten bucks, it's pretty good. It's a safety 1st 06 model. Is there any way to get the canopy off? I've gotten the part the child sits in off and am washing it in my bathtub for her, but I can't find a way to get the stroller canopy off for washing. Is there no way to do this?

It has no screws. Just these little rivets. I really want to clean this canopy! But my bathroom is too small to try and like... invert the stroller in the bathtub.

Ok, the hinge part, It doesn't slide out or something? If you don't get an answer by the time I get to work, I will check some of mine. I have always taken the canopy off.

You are a goddess of kid's stuff, Judi. The canopy clips off, but I was afraid I'd break it if I pulled too hard, so now I have pulled and my bf is getting the last little bit off (this bar at the back that DOES screw off) for me and I can put it in my bathtub.
