what do you all do when the sraps cut into your child's neck? i did have those little cushioned sleeve things on our seat sraps, but i've read those aren't a good idea. any suggestions on how to position them so they aren't so darn uncomfortable?

we're still waiting on our boulevard...should be here today!:D

wee thin baby socks with the toes cut out, then thread them onto the straps. or just always put your kiddo in shirts with turtlenecks and collars :)

Is the chest clip too high? I've never had that problem with my dd or any complaints anyway.

DS2's safeseat straps leave red marks and I just make sure his shirt is in between the staps and his neck. DS1 refuses to have the strap covers on his seats and gets red marks, but does not seem to be bothered by it, so we do nothing to prevent those.

I think as kids get bigger the straps can become an issue. My dd is very petite but the straps began digging into her neck a while ago. We tried baby washcloths as needed but they fall off. I like the baby sock idea. They can slide up or down away from the neck as needed. Here in Texas we have LOTS of days where there really isn't much fabric near the neck to pull up!!!

I have a question to go along with this...I have strap covers on Joshua's Snugride. They didn't come with the seat, but they are made by Graco and are pretty small. Are those okay to use or should I take them off?
