Very extended rear facing seat? Check.

Older baby/young toddler in seat at rear facing recline angle? Check!

Chest clip in appropriate spot? Check.

Straps below shoulders? Tough to tell, but looks likely. I'll give it to them.

Straps tight? Nope.

Installed rear facing in vehicle? What vehicle?

(Seriously, this is among the better car seat photos I've seen that wasn't set up by a car seat company or NHTSA.)

You can tell how loose they are near the buckle. They're way tighter than many ads, but not tight enough for actually riding in a car.

Honestly, they don't look loose at all. Because of the buckle, most harness straps don't touch baby's bellies...they sit slightly away from the body there. But there doesn't look like there's any slack at the hips, the straps run in a nice, straight line up to the shoulders and aren't sagging. It looks good!
