Newbie due any time now got infant seat all is good. I have been wanting a truefit for so long and now that we have the extra funds I can get it now. Last sono appt on 8/29 she is measuring weight wise at 7.10 I go tomorrow for a level 2 sono and will get more detailed info. My goal is rear facing til at least 3
DD 1 was over due by 2 weeks and was 9lbs at birth this one will be taken at 39 weeks if all is good tomorrow and we are on schedule. DD 1 was 38.5 lbs on her 3year check up so Im not sure if I should get a truefit or not now. I want a convertible that will last rf to at least 3 and ff to at least 5 so hubby and I wont fight about seats all the time. I need at least 2 convertible and one needs lock offs that will be the spare seat for our 95 civic 2 door so it has to be compact. Our infant seat barley fits at the newborn angel and also needs lock offs for my MIL cars 94 towncar no locking belts either. I really dont want anything on a base for the cars. The Truefit is the only seat that meets everything for the cars unless i missed a seat
but may not let me rf til 3 if dd2 follows dd1 growth.

For our main seat for our 2003 Truck thinking about Graco Size 4 me this will be the main

I'd probably keep the money set aside (in envelope in your dresser if need be) and wait and see what baby's growth curve is like before getting a convertible - plus getting it closer to when you'll need it.
