What is the best way to go about shipping a big seat. I want to put my regent on swap but have no clue how to get shipping costs reasonable for such a big seat.

I have the same question. I have a couple Frontiers that I've considered selling to fund a Radian80 for my 15 month old.

my frontier regular and 85 weren't much to ship. I want to say $18 a piece. I just made a box out of other boxes so it fit the seat and shipped ups. I'm concerned about the weight of the regent breaking the box and the dimensions of the box make it bulk shipping.

i've heard some using greyhound freight. You can check prices on greyhound.com. The person you'd ship it to would have to pick it up the bus station.

1. Don't ship UPS if you can help it at all. Ship USPS or FedEx ground.

2. Buy a NEW box for it. Seats get handled roughly. A box that has already been through shipping might not withstand further abuse. A dish barrel box from UHaul is only $6. That box is AMAZING and large enough to fit most seats.

3. Print your own shipping via PP. Cheaper than going to the PO to pay. You will still need to hand the box to a PO worker since it will be oversized but, you will save $$ by printing your own.

4. Always ship with DC and insurance.

5. You can use PP to estimate shipping so you KNOW how much it will cost and not just guess.

The further the box is going the more $$$ it will be....
