seat to puzzle with Cosco Scenera

I am preparing to travel next week and need to purchase a really narrow car seat to allow a third passenger to sit in the back seat with my two kids in car seats. (My kids usually ride in two Evenflo Triumph Advances.) We have a Cosco Scenera which we can use for one child. I'm looking for recommendations for seats that puzzle well with this. I can put either child in the Scenera, but it would be RFing for my 10 month old or FFing for my 3.5 year old.

Kids' stats:
3.5 year old: 39 inches tall, 22 inch torso height (wears 4T shirt), and 34lbs
10 month old: 29.5 inches tall, 18 inch torso height (wears 12 month onesies), and19lbs

My 3.5 year old is tall so will outgrow the Scenera soon. She could move into a 5 point booster if you can recommend something narrow (or that will puzzle well with the Scenera).

If we wanted a short term solution, just for the upcoming trip, would two Sceneras puzzle together, one RFing and one FFing? It would be a cheap, temporary solution until we can find a better long term solution!

Other options I've considered (for my daughter):
Diono Radian
Britax Frontier 85 (seems a bit too wide maybe)
Clek Foonf (sits too high, my daughter won't last long because of her height, actually ordered one and returned it)

Any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated, especially those you know work from experience!

I live overseas (but drive a US spec car so need a US spec car seat) and am not able to test any seats in person, so I really appreciate your advice. Thanks in advance!

I had to do three across in an 01 Altima. Two scenera's do not puzzle well together. We had a scenera FF center and Evenflo Maestro driver side & Keyfit 30 passenger. We liked the Maestro so much we bought a second one and it made the three across we had to do so much easier.

I would do Maestro center and Scenera RF either driver or passenger, whichever is most convenient for you. Those two seats work well together. If I remember, the Maestro goes in first (now in a minivan so can't remember how I did it) then the Scenera. You'll probably need a noodle or towel for the Scenera but it should work well.

I do three across in my Volvo wagon for childcare and my daughter is close to your dd's size....maybe a little shorter. I have a scenera rf, radian rf, and a scenera 40rf rfing... I don't know if you have any interest in turning her rf for the trip. I do know you can turn the scenera ff and get a good install next to the radian but I don't know about the other way around... The radians are so heavy that I hate moving them....

Could you put the baby in the radian for the trip and you dd in the scenera one last time then give the radian to her when you get home?
