RideSafer Vest? Any User Reports?

Looking at buying a few of these fairly carefully. The idea seems solid, concept plays well. But anymore marketing people will sell their souls and my general level of trust in humanity is a bit low. So...

1) Anybody using one?

2) Anybody have strong feelings for or against they care to share?

3) Are there quality or safety certifications here in the US that we'd expect them to have?

FWIW, these would not be for primary use. It's a "hey dad, I'm stuck at work (my son's an ER doc, it happens all too often), can you pick up the kids from daycare?" Now that I suddenly have to transport 3 kids, and 2/3 of my vehicles, won't allow more than two across in the back, these might be an excellent "uh-oh" plan. I can still seat adults anytime I want up front, like my wife, and just keep a few of these carefully stored under seat, in a trunk, etc.

TIA!

The Ride Safer Travel Vest has been around for some time and is often suggested as a possible solution for various situations including help with 3 across situations. The Admins here have reviewed it multiple times. The most recent here: https://carseatblog.com/47010/ridesafer-xl/ and you can search for the others. There are some folks on this board including CPSTs and Instructors that have a lot of experience with them. I have some, but it wasn't around when my son was young. With more information about the kiddos (age ht. & wt.) you are transporting, the current seats you are using and the vehicle, we can provide more guidance.

Safe, certified, and handy for various situations, particularly middle seats and next to boosters where space between seats is at a premium. Also great for travel.
