Recaro Prosport fits 3rd row(Odyssey?)

New member
Does the Recaro Prosport fit with the headrest all the way up in the 3rd row of an Odyssey? Ours is 2011. It would be outboard.

I don't have it handy to test, or an empty seat even to test.

I am just thinking of how to switch up seats.
3 YO is going to go forward-facing really soon. He is 44 lbs. and his seat goes to 45 RF. So when he does that (probably in the current Radian which is FF for 5 YO), I need to move 5 YO to something. Maybe the Prosport (which we have). It's so easy to tighten; I love it.

It fits fine in the third row of my 2010 Odyssey, but I'm not sure how different that row is from the '11. I'm also not sure if I left the headrest in or not (I probably did). Is the headrest not removable in yours?

Yes, they come out.

I know 2011 and on are pretty similar.
2010 was before they re-did the body.

I just don't want the headrest to bump and not fit, of course. :)
It's a bit sloped back there.

I have a Monterey extended all the way up in the 3rd row outboard position of my '14. I believe the Monterey is at least as tall if not taller than the Recaro. No issues at all. Headrest left in.

Oh! I thought you were asking if it fit with the vehicle headrest up! You meant does it fit height-wise with the ProSport's headrest up. So yeah, again, it fits in my '10.
