Rav4 2019: 5 passengers?

New member
Hi, I was wondering if the New Rav4 is still a 4 passenger car or did thay fix the issue and now 3 humans can sit in the back at the same time?
Also, are the headrests very forward? Is it allowed to remove them for car seats installation?

Thank you

It looks like the seat belt overlap issue is very much improved, though there is still a little bit of overlap. The head rests look to be mildly forward but not extremely so. I'm not sure whether or not they can be removed.

ETA: I just noticed this is the Canadian area; my answer is for the US version so I suppose it could possibly be different across the border (though that would surprise me!).
