Radian install help...

I swear I'm about to throw the darn thing off a bridge... I'm trying to get it installed in the center of the third row in a 07 grand caravan. I've gotten it installed there before, so I know its possible. Only thing is, I can't figure out what the heck I did differently. It was a pain and took a while but I got it. The thing is, feels tight and does not move at all when you try to move it from side to side. But then when you go to check front to back movement, it moves a lot. I tried everything I could think of and could not figure out how in the world to get it in there. I know it was installed tightly before and I'm going crazy trying to figure out what could be different...

I have an '08 so the new body style but I think the seats are close to the same. I had that same issue. The only thing that helped was to recline the seat, pull the seat belt tighter then put the seat back upright. Made it perfectly tight  Took me hours of fighting to realize that was the kicker. AND I had a second person pushing it into the back of the seat while I pulled the belt tighter.

It was a royal PITA!

THANK YOU!!! I didn't even think to recline the seat. Its in good and its going to stay there! I took all the seats out to take a load of stuff to Goodwill, but from now on I'll just wait until I can use DH's truck...that seat is staying there....lol.

Do you twist the buckle stalk at all? Its how I almost always have to install my Radian in the 3rd row. But one twist does the trick and its rock solid every time.
