My daughter is babysitting a 3 year old boy. She has been asked to transport him to preschool here soon (like in a week or so). She asked to look at their seat. She says its almost brand new and the parent insists that they can use the seat's 5pt harness while using the seat as a booster....which is how he is using it....like a booster but also harnessed in....and the lower anchers/tethers are attached as well. Is there a seat out there that would allow that? (seriously doubting it but I have not been keeping up on the new seats these days like I should) I kinda recall reading about one that does allow using the harness in booster mode but I cant find any info on it. I am 99% sure this seat is a hot mess. She wont transport him until we make sure he is safe.....and she wont transport him at all if he is actually in a booster seat at age 3. She knows better. I will be checking the seat here soon but need a little info first. thank you!
