Questions about Gen 65 and Symphony 65

Were there any changes to the seats other than the increase in weight limit? Are the 40 lb versions still in production or were they 100% replaced by the 65 lb versions? Just wondering since I saw both today and they both look just like the 40 lb versions.

Evenflo said there were structural changes (I'm assuming internal or materials) but we don't know what.

I think the Generations has been replaced for sure but that's based on how I see the old ones being phased out... Not sure on the Symphony?

The only thing I've *noticed* on the Gen 65 is that the harness is thicker and there's a push button to release/loosen the harness. I think on the Symphony that the base is now not removable for booster use, but the seat seems the same size and otherwise identical from the outside.

I'm pretty sure they phased out the 40# versions. The 65 is a BRU exclusive but Target is clearancing their Symphonies out now.

Oh your right! Forgot about the push button. I couldn't figure out how to loosen the harness and actually pulled out the manual b/c I didn't notice the button, lol!
