Pros and cons of Onboard air 35+

I am looking at possibly getting the Onboard air35+ wondering what you all think of it. There are not very many reviews out there for this seat. My last infant seat was a SS1, any comparison to that?

Also, how likely is it to be a year or more since manufacture date? I am specifically looking at the plumberry pattern, which I think is newer, but I'm not sure.

The Onboard Air + was released just this year so it should not be a year or more since manufacture date.

I haven't had a chance to play with the Air+ yet but I have the older Air version and I LOVE it. I am really pleased with the pictures of the redesigned infant insert. The installation of the two seats should be the same - it's exactly the same base. And it's a breeze, whether with LATCH or seat belt.

I didn't even know there was an Air +. Is that just on the infant seats or the other Air seats, too?

Several of the seats now have Air+. There's also the Advance Air + and the Elite Air +.
