Pics of DD in the Dora seat

I was at the walmart with the dora and sponge bob seats again today so I put Ella in the dora one and took a few pics. No one bothered me this time (and the seat is STILL not attached to the shelf...) :)

Sponge Bob

Ella is 4 years and 2 months old, weighs 35 lbs, and is around 40 inches tall. I *think* her torso height is around 14-14.5 inches (she's got about a half inch of torso height to grow before she's even with the top slots on the scenera if that helps).
(she really was more excited to be trying out new seats than she looks...she just didn't want me taking her picture...)

I noticed today that the harness seems really umm...thin? One of the buckle pieces was already flipped around and I had to fix it before I buckled her in the seat. The harness was pretty twisted as well. Of course Ella is now saying she's putting the Dora seat on her Christmas list...

Cute kid! Creepy carseat, the hands on the cupholder scares me. Though I do like the pink harness straps

So does Dora's neck grow?

It took me a minute to realize it was Dora's shoulder at the slot not your daughters, lol.

Olivia loves that seat! Everytime she sees it she goes 'my seat!' She's not ffing so no worries yet but it looks like it has pretty high top slots.

Yes, Dora's neck grows. I didn't have time to mess with it anymore or I would have moved it up as high as it would go. The Sponge Bob one is moved up though (not sure if it goes any higher). And yes, only 2 harness slots... I showed the pics to a few non car seat geek friends today and they all said it was beyond freaky and they wouldn't buy it...

The seats are creepy but I REALLY like the coordinating harness colors! Imagine a Petal Radian with a pink pretty!

Those seats will give me nightmares!

Just think of all the miss-use due to only 2 harness heights all because "mommy I want the Dora seat!"
