No, and that's better than most Chinese do. When we were there I saw one kid in a carseat, and that was Piper (and she had to be in the front seat since the back didn't have buckles).

no, because as a portable highchair, it's great... heck, you could use one of these on one of those booster seats with no buckles or anything for wiggly kids and have a pretty inexpensive and machine washable booster seat.

I had the same thought, but because of the way it installs, I'm not sure it would actually work as a high chair. I can't find mine to try now, though.
