I always worry about "with the seat pushed all the way back." I get that we don't want an airbag to explode onto a little kid, but with advanced airbags that's (supposedly) not as huge an issue. I do worry about the kid behind the kid in the front seat who now has the front seat pushed into his/her legs and the seatback that much closer to his/her head.
In a car with first-gen airbags, I might be more concerned about the potential for harm, but with newer cars, I have to wonder if "reasonably far back" is sufficient.
