Nuna Pipa - when outgrown?

My 19 month old is just about 32" and there is just about 1" of shell left. Is the Nuna Pipa outgrown at 32" and 1" shell, or over those numbers (like, 32.1" and 1.1")?

Congrats to making it to 19months in a bucket seat! Do you plan on using a convertible seat, continuing with rear facing thru 24 months, or thru 40lbs/40inches, maximum? Whatever new seat you buy, please keep in mind the American Association of Pediatrics high,y recommends rear facing car seats thru 24 months at the minimum, and to go farther and longer as long as the child fits the weight/height limits of their car seat's rear facing mode. What is the weight and length of the toddler, and what model/year vehicle will the next car seat be in?

It is outgrown. The manual says that it requires the height to be "less than 32 inches."

Very convenient for you that your kiddo hit both the 1" rule and the 32" rule at the same time!

Now that I am at work with easier access, I downloaded the manual, and sure enough, it says "less than." Thank you! Although I have several convertibles to choose from at home, I've had my eye on the Clek Foonf, so now I have a compelling reason to finally buy one.

Yes - I rearfaced my son until 3.5, and plan to go at least that long with kid #3. (My 7 year old RF until 20 months, which was a very odd thing to do back then, in my circles anyway....I'm still a weirdo for going past 2, even with the updated rules by APA and in NJ).

Thanks all!
