I have a 2006 Nissan frontier LE. It is a two door with jump seats in the back. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to install a rear facing car seat. Ive looked over the owners manual online and still can’t figure it out. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi. I've never installed a carseat in this truck before, but it looks like what you need to do is lift the jump seat bottom up to access the seat extension and legs. The extension will fold out and the legs will then fold out and down to the sides from under the extension. See if this helps: https://www.saferidenews.com/latch/latch-gallery/latch-gallery-las/#jp-carousel-941

If you install a rear-facing carseat on that passenger side jump seat, you won't be able to have anyone ride in the front passenger seat because it will need to be pulled all the way forward and put upright.

Since you'll have to use the seat belt, run the seat belt through the rear-facing belt path and buckle it. Pull the shoulder belt out slowly all the way to the end, then let it retract slowly until you hear it start to click. That means you've switched the retractor to locked mode, which is used for locking carseats. Let it retract slowly until it goes all the way back in, then press on the carseat until you get less than 1" of movement when you tug on it at the belt path.
