How's the legroom for him?

Fine. He's all torso though. 38"ish tall, 30lbs at 2.5 years old. I'd say the legroom was slightly more than our BLVD, probably comparable to his MySize. His legs are slightly bent but he's not eating his knees. Install was a breeze, harness is like butter and no issues at all with it cutting into his neck. Not sure why everyone is having such an issue? If the chest clip is placed at armpit level/nipple line then it's fine because the harness straps keep them in place on the shoulders.

i have a really compact car. i have a nissan juke. i love this carseat but im wondering if this seat is going to fit in my car rear facing.

do you have to use setting #1 for newborns or can you use #2?

can you so kindly measure across from seat to the end of the carseat recline on setting #1 so i can measure in my car? thanks

the only seat i have found out so far that fits perfectly in my car is the combi corroco. but i havent purchased that seat yet, i just read on here its a perfect fit.

I don't know but BedBathandBeyond just sent out some 20% off coupons in the mail...did you get one? BRU honors them. I just used one last night to pick up a NextFit.

My BuyBuyBaby takes any unexpired Bed Bath & Beyond coupon for any brand that isn't listed as excluded on the coupon. You can use it on strollers and car seats as long as the brand isn't excluded. I don't think Chicco is excluded. I also read at my local Babies RUs that they honor competitor coupons.

Yes. I just used a Bed Bath and Beyond coupon to buy my Nextfit at BRU.as long as it isn't one of the excluded brands listed on the coupon then it works.

So I just called my local BRU and they said the only BRU stores large enough to carry nextfits in my state are two stores in the southern part that are an hour from me. Anyone know if I could use the coupon at the service desk to buy it and have it sent to my local store? The coupon says no phone orders or special orders, but not sure what they consider special order.

I finally saw the Next Fit, briefly at Babies R Us. About all I did was touch it. I don't like the fabric. It seems like it would snag really easily. Has anyone had that happen yet?

You could see if they'd just order it with the coupon and ship to your house. Although, if it were me (and unless it's near impossible), I'd probably find time to drive the hour and check it out in person.

Interesting that not all BRUs will carry them, it's not like Chicco is some exclusive brand or something.

I think the reason why is because the other BRUs are combined with TRU and therefore a lot smaller...also it's a higher priced seat so it unfortunately won't be selling as much as the Safety 1sts and Evenflos that are cheaper and therefore more popular; SO they likely wouldn't take something out to make room for it.

I thought that too but we've been using it since the beginning of March and it hasn't snagged at all. The fabric has held up remarkably and DS1 has lots of velcro clothes and shoes that snag everything.

No, there are many seats my local BRU doesn't have. Like a pp said, the BRU's around here are TRU afterthought conversions. There is no room.

If it wasn't "supposed to be out" it wouldn't be out. Trust me, Chicco and BRU know what they're doing.
