That looks a lot like the Rumi Air that BRU stores in the US carried, or possibly still carry. It has to be installed at a reclined angle in harness mode and IIRC is incompatible with many vehicles because of this.

Ew. None of that is appealing in the least. I hope that with this seat being brand new to the Canadian market they'll have tweaked its various issues so it's a decent option. I doubt it, but one can hope.

Interesting - I called my CT to ask if they had it and no -- and they won't be getting any as it's a discontinued item.

So just a computer hiccup made it look new. Yeah, it was a flop, I was wondering for a brief second if they took our unsold US stock and relabeled it to dump on your market. That would have been uncool. I hope they recycled them into, like, cat litter boxes, or something else actually useful (ps, I'm sorry if there's anyone around here who loves this seat, I didn't mean to hurt your feelings, I'm sure it's quite safe when used properly, I just found that it was quite difficult to use properly, personally, especially after a guy at my store removed the harness to test it as a booster. Yeah, the harness should NOT be removed, I wasn't happy).

No, it's never been in Canada before as far as I know. So new to us, yet, not. Who knows where the stock came from, or why!
