Holgate Toys Recalls Playmat Sets Due to Choking Hazard. Sold exclusively at Wegmans Food Stores nationwide from October 2012 through June 2013 for about $25.

Toysmith Recalls Toy Light-Up Frogs and Ducks Due to Choking Hazard. Sold exclusively at Cost Plus World Market between July 2012 and December 2012 for around $3.

Sleepharmony Pink Youth Beds Recalled by Glideaway Due to Violation of Lead Paint Standard. Sold at Furniture and other retail stores nationwide from February 2012 to June 2013 from between $120 to $170.

Giant Bicycle Recalls XtC Bicycles and Seatposts Due to Fall Hazard. Sold at bicycle stores nationwide between November 2012 and May 2013 for between $4,300 and $7,700 for the bicycles and $200 for the seatpost sold separately

Husqvarna Recalls Closed-Course/Competition Off-Road Motorcycles Due to Crash Hazard. Sold at Motorcycle shops nationwide from October 2012 through June 2013 for between $6,300 and $7,100.

Big Lots Recalls Tabletop Torches Due to Fire and Burn Hazards. Sold exclusively at
Big Lots stores nationwide from March 2013 through June 2013 for between $8 and $20.

Gerber Recalls Gerber® Uppercut™ Fixed Blade Knife and Sheath Set Due to Laceration Hazard. Sold at Sporting goods stores nationwide and online at www.gerbergear.com from March 2013 through June 2013 for about $60 per knife and sheath set.

Beijing Capital Tyre Co. (BCT) is recalling certain Autoguard LT245/75R16 tires manufactured June 25th, 2012, through November 11th, 2012. These tires failed the endurance test standards of FMVSS 139 and contain incorrect maximum load load data on the sidewall. Thus, these tires fail to to comply to the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 139, "New Pneumatic Radial Tires for Light Vehicles."

Heeren Brothers Produce is recalling approximately 5,400 cantaloupes because of a possible health risk to consumers. The produce, which was distributed to small, independent grocers in Michigan July 23-26, has the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes and should be discarded and not consumed. The cantaloupes are Athena Cantaloupes, but have no stickers or other markings that identify them as such.

Evershing International Trading, Inc. of San Jose, CA is recalling all Ginger Candy it received from Lucky Shing Company due to elevated levels of lead. A green coconut tree appears on the top of the label above the words “Coconut Tree Brand”.

United Processing LLC, a New York Mills, NY firm, is recalling approximately 12,600 pounds of boneless veal products because they may be contaminated with E. coli O157:H7, E. coli O145 and E. coli O45
The products were produced on June 17, 18, 24, 28 and 29, 2013 then distributed to wholesalers in New York and California for further processing.

ZIP INTERNATIONAL GROUP LLC, is recalling Baltic Sprats in Spicy Brine Net Wt. 15.8 Oz (450g) in plastic packaging because it is has the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. The best by date is located on the top of the packaging and was sold to distributors and retail grocery stores in New York State beginning on May 31, 2013 and ending on June 6, 2013.

Gold Star Smoked Fish Corp., located at 570 Smith Street, Brooklyn, NY 11231, is recalling Baltic Treasures, Norwegian Style Matjes, Marinella "Delicatessnaya", Jewish Style Matjes, Traditional Russian Matjes, and Rybacka Wies Matjes Brands of Herring Fillets in Oil due to contamination or possible contamination with Listeria monocytogenes. The products were sold nationwide.

Specialty Compounding, LLC, a subsidiary of Peoples Pharmacy Inc., is voluntarily recalling all lots of sterile medications within expiry. The recall was initiated after reports of bacterial infection affecting 15 patients at two Texas hospitals, Corpus Christi Medical Center Doctors Regional and Corpus Christi Medical Center Bay Area, whose treatment included IV infusions of calcium gluconate from Specialty Compounding. Recalled products were distributed directly to hospitals and physician offices in Texas. Recalled products were also sent directly to patients located nationwide with the exception of North Carolina.

Hospira, Inc. (NYSE: HSP), announced today a recall of certain blood sets. There have been reports from customers of instances in which the outer wall of blood bags were punctured with the piercing pin on certain Hospira blood sets during insertion of the pin into the blood bag.

Health and Beyond LLC is voluntarily recalling quantity lots of product Tranquility. The products have been found to contain a trace of Doxepin which is a pharmaceutical for sleep and Chlorpormazine for psychotic disorders. The product was distributed Nationwide, wholesale, retail and via internet.

Bethel Nutritional Consulting, Inc., New York, NY, is voluntarily recalling Quick Thin and Bethel Advance to the consumer level. These products have been found to contain Sibutramine and Phenolphthalein. The products were sold directly to individual customers in our New York, NY, sales office and online at www.bethel30.com.

CTV Best Group announced today that it is conducting a voluntary nationwide recall of all lots of a dietary supplement products distributed by the company under the names BEST SLIM 40 Pills to the consumer level. The products were distributed nationwide via retail stores and internet sales via www.Bestslim.net between April 2013 and July 2013.
