Red and grey available at BRU. When I was there yesterday they seemed to be clearing out the Infiniti. The floor model was $209.99. Pulse looks super soft. I didn't see it out at mine yet.

I also think of sock monkeys. Can't say I am a fan. I have an irrational loathing of sock monkeys. (AKA I really don't get the paul frank thing?)

I hope they don't stop making mystique before I decide to buy this seat again lol

I saw it in real life today. Not very nice IMO. The fabric doesn't seem as nice either.

I appreciate the sentiment. I really like colorful car seats and I was hoping for some more color options for the Nextfit. I think they are tuned in to this interest too -- since it seems that the Gemini is always the one that Chicco sends when giving a car seat to be reviewed.

I also had an uncomfortable feeling when looking at the Pulse, though. And after reading a few comments here I did determine that it was the sock monkey association. It also kind of reminds me of awkward elementary/middle school boys in sweatpants. (Not that I can talk -- I think I LIVED in sweatpants until I was in 6th grade -- but it just floods me with painfully shy memories.)

Does this mean that there won't be any new fashions or features unveiled at the ABC Expo? I had been waiting for that, but has Chicco already made it's changes for the year?

Weird...why call it Pulse and then make it *different* (fabric, same color) from the same-named Pulse stroller and Key Fit? (Baby Trend also seems to have done that with Edge...the combo seat has yellow highlights, the jogging stroller has green patterns..)

Yeah, our KF30 is in Pulse as is our Liteway Plus, and I expected the Nextfit to be similar - not at all! I really like Pulse in the Keyfit/Liteway Plus, but the sock monkey look doesn't work for me. It doesn't look like a Chicco fashion.

Now that I look again it's not a burgundy, more of a deep purple? Lol
