Need help asap for flying advice

Flying tomorrow and thought we would be able to take our turbo but now that is not possible as the back will not fit in a carry on and we are not checking any bags. Our options for a 35lb 6 year old are to bring on our Nauti and use it during flight or buy a backless rated for his weight. We will be traveling in a busy city. What would be the best idea?

If you're going to be renting a car and using the seat in one vehicle I'd take the nautilus. If you're going to be traveling in several different vehicles, such as taking cabs and other forms of public transportation, I'd consider a backless booster.

Have you checked w/ the airline to see if they'll let you gatecheck it? Some airlines will let you gatecheck boosters for free.

I would probably take the Nautilus and use it on the plane.

When we flew this summer, I ended up putting 2 turbo booster backs in a Radian car seat box and checked that with our luggage for free. We carried the nbbs on the plane with us and put it under the seats.
