Question My Ride Rattle

We have 3 My Ride 65s and love them. But one of them rattles when my daughter is not sitting in it. It is the ball in the level that rattles and it drives me crazy. Any ideas?

When I had mine this used to drive me nuts as well. I thought it might be the tether strap since it was just kind of hanging. IIRC, there wasn't any kind of storage for it so it was just dangling. I didn't even think about it being the balls in the level.

DD's Radian used to rattle because of the way the straps hung when empty; the two pieces of the chest clip would knock together. Since I rarely remembered to fix it before driving and it was dangerous to reach back and swat at it, I just turned up the radio. :D

My friends RF'ing MR was rattling and driving her crazy. Come to find out it was the RF tether dangling on the seat. I just snugged it up a bit and she hasn't had a problem since.

I thought it was the tether too, at first; after investigating it turned out to be the ball in the level. Weighted doll....not a bad idea. I can strap it in and it won't be a hazard! :)

Mine rattles even with DD in the seat. Its the ball rattling on DDs seat. It's a solid install too. It doesn't bother me but it bothers DH a lot LOL

12 years later and the level ball in my new tri-ride is driving me nuts. I want to remove the level but we’re still rear facing right now.

Even if forward facing, it's not a good idea to remove the level. If you find it extremely annoying, I would call Graco customer service.
