My new Diono RXT *pics*

I ordered a cobalt blue RXT Love it, as I knew I would. But in booster mode it was a no go for me too. Has anyone had success with it?! The lap/should belt fit was good but it will not retract back if dd2 leans forward. She did find it comfortable though. She is on the top harness slots with plenty of growing room. I tried ds in it and I'm hoping to get more pics with him at some point.

In harness mode. I had to move the harness up to the top slots because as you can see, her shoulders are just above the harness slots.

In booster mode. Nice belt fit but again, unless I lock the seatbelt its very easy to get slack in the seat belt

Can you describe the fabric? Slick, mesh-like, do you think it will snag easily?

I'm not very good at this, but I would describe the fabric as slick, no mesh and I don't think it would snag at all.

She is gorgeous!!! The bottom seems so narrow. But it is a pretty seat!

I think the Foonf is out for us since it's so high, so I'm pretty sure the RXT (in Colbalt!) is what's next in line for DS2.

Are you familiar with the Livia fabric on the FR85? Is that how the Colbalt is? How do you think the Colbalt will hold up with RFing feet?

I don't know But I don't see why not, the seat is basically the same as the older style

Yes, all the grey is mesh. See it also on the sides by the seat portion? Doesn't concern though

I always wanted to see one of these in person, it looks like a good fit for her...For someone like my ds it would be a disaster though, looks very narrow. But I suppose this is one of the things these seats are known for, great for 3across. I really like the cover.
