My homemade version of the Traveling Toddler

As requested by a few.

I bought a steel ring and two of the oblong fasteners that screw open and closed from the hardware department of Lowes. Total cost less than $5.

this is a samsonite "freestyle" or something like that. I has the four wheels on casters.

Don't know how I feel about actually having my dd ride on the car seat. I'm not planning on it unless I HAVE to. I'm planning to use this just to transport the seat. Though the rings say they are good up to 200 lbs.

We just bought a large washer and used it with an evenflo chase. My neighbors 3y rode in the seat. It worked great and didn't even cost a dollar.

The extra rings makes it work with more seats. We have a bv and was thinking of how I could make it work with it. We probably won't fly for years though.

I just did a very similar thing with a ComfortSport and a single load-bearing carribeaner. The 'beaner I used is good up to 160 pounds. DD rode in the seat, no problem. My concern (before trying it out) wasn't about the attachment to the suitcase, but about whether the suitcase's handle could handle it. DD (20 pounds) rode no problem. I didn't feel that it was really straining the suitcase, and the whole thing balanced really well.

Thanks!
I wanted to find a really big washer but the guy at Lowes said they didn't have any big enough. I think it was a total of $3.50 if I remember correctly. Not bad!
